Strategia treats it as a full lifecycle: SMART scoring with a detailed rubric rather than a pass-or-fail mark, target bands with warning and critical thresholds rather than all-or-nothing math, categorized reason codes for under-performance, weighted roll-ups across the org chart, automatic escalations when a threshold is breached, and ISO 9001:2015 clause mapping built into every KPI. Every KPI in Strategia moves through four clear stages — draft, active, archived, and retired — with a full version history. A KPI in draft does not count toward roll-ups. An active KPI has a tracking status — on track, at risk, or off track — worked out from its target bands. An archived KPI keeps its history but is no longer collected. A retired KPI is formally closed, with the reason recorded. Retiring a KPI is a documented decision, never a quiet deletion.

Every goal in Strategia carries a named stakeholder for each of six roles: Sponsor (the executive owner), Owner (the primary responsible party), Primary Contributor and Secondary Contributor (the execution team), Consulted (advisory input), and Informed (status only). These assignments cascade into KPI ownership, metric submission, and the approval chain — so notifications, escalations, and overdue flags all route to the right person automatically, without a separate setup. A goal-by-goal stakeholder view surfaces accountability gaps before they cost you a quarter, and every reassignment is recorded in the audit trail with the reason captured.

Strategia's approval workflow is a configurable two-level cycle: department-level validation, then strategy-owner approval, with SLAs you can tune per role. The cycle applies to every metric — whether submitted by a person or pulled by the scheduler. Auto-skip rules prevent self-approval when the validator and submitter are the same person. Bulk approval is supported for routine submissions; single-record review is supported for sensitive KPIs. Categorized reason codes are captured on every rejection or under-performance, and the full history — every approval, rejection, skip, and resubmission — is stamped with actor and time. Escalations route automatically when a threshold is breached.

Every Monday morning, Strategia sends a check-in reminder to the owners of KPIs marked as "committed" rather than "aspirational". Each owner updates a confidence level for their committed KPIs. If a check-in is missed for more than seven days, an overdue flag appears on the KPI. And if a KPI crosses a target band, an escalation is raised automatically — to the manager, director, or executive — with the response time tracked.

Strategy cascades from vision and weighted strategic themes — which together total 100% — into SMART goals, then into KPIs, and finally into the metrics beneath them. Each level uses weights from 0 to 10 to roll up, so a department's contribution to a corporate goal is defined precisely rather than assumed. Yes, fully. Arabic and English are treated as equals throughout — every screen, every notification, every label. KPI summaries are generated in both languages, and reports and exports (PDF and Excel) are produced with proper Arabic typography. Each organization has a default language, and any user can change it for their own account.
